Hibiscus insularis Phillip Island Hibiscus Flower
Common Name: Phillip Island Hibiscus
Species: Hibiscus insularis
Family: MALVACEAE
The Phillip Island Hibiscus is a gorgeous species of native hibiscus, and probably the best native hibiscus species for training into an informal hedge. I love the way the stamens and stigma twist around each other, giving them a candy-cane like appearance.
